Adam’s love for the restaurant and hospitality industry began at an early age, washing dishes at Monty Trainer’s in Coconut Grove, Florida. After working his way through the kitchen to the front of the house, he interned in the restaurants of the United States Senate on Capitol Hill and studied Hotel Restaurant Management at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Adam managed a myriad of luxury resorts, fine dining, casual and quick casual restaurants, and he has owned three restaurants.
After recruiting with Bliss Pierce and Associates for five years, Adam started his own recruiting firm in 2002 and became the “go to” recruiter for his clients placing managers and executives into some of the most respected restaurant and hospitality companies in the world.
He and his wife, Kelley, started JonesCraft Recruiters, Ltd. Co. in 2016 focusing strictly on restaurants, hotels and resorts. In 2018, JonesCraft Recruiters was awarded the “Hospitality Supplier of the Year” by the South Carolina Restaurant & Lodging Association (SCRLA) and in 2019 JonesCraft Recruiters was recognized with the “Outstanding Community Service Program” also by the SCRLA. In 2020, Adam was elected to serve on the board of the SCRLA and as president of the Spartanburg Chapter. Also in 2020, he became co-owner of RJ Rockers, a brewery and restaurant located in Spartanburg, SC.
Kelley graduated Clemson University with a BS in Mathematical Sciences and from the University of South Carolina with an MBA. She began her career as a marketing analyst at textile giant, Milliken & Company, then later as the marketing director for Spartanburg Community College. In both capacities, she headed up training and implementation of innovative programs.
Education is paramount to Kelley, and she embraces it in all aspects of her life while encouraging others to do so. As a result, she is constantly looking for opportunities to learn and to formalize that knowledge into successful processes and practices.
Kelley focuses on brand consistency and recognition. She strives to create it at JonesCraft and also respects it of her clients. Her passion, drive and management style foster a culture of success through teamwork.
